My Birthday Giveaway!!!

I am turning 28 on Sunday, and in addition to watching the casino shoot off fireworks and spending time with my family, I want to have a giveaway here to celebrate my birthday!

And since my absolute favorite gift to recieve is always a book I haven't read (which my family complains is hard to find), that's what I want to give away. I will draw one person and give them whatever book they are dying to read this summer.

The rules are simple:
1--Just make a comment below and tell me what YA book you really, really want to read.

2--Include your email address so that I can contact you if you win.

3--Be a follower of my blog.

Bonus--You can have additional entries if you tweet or blog about this (just let me know.)

That's it!

The contest will end Tuesday, July 5th at midnight.
I'll draw a winner a week from today, Wednesday July 6th.

**Thank you Chantele Sedgwick for this giveaway idea. :)

  1. There are too many books I want to read. And I have to tell you Kaylee, your book "Meg's Melody" is right there at the top of my list. I wanted to purchase it at Storymakers, but limited funds didn't allow it. So definitely put me in your drawing!

  3. Very cool idea! My birthday is in July too, so we're like, birth-month sisters. I should do a giveaway this month. Hm.

Anyway, I have a long list, so I hope you're ready: I'd love to read Crossed by Ally Condie (but it's not out yet) Simone Elkeles has two books I'm dying to read, Rules of Attraction and How to Ruin Your Boyfriend's Reputation. I also want to read Beautiful Darkness (the follow up to Beautiful Creatures). Um. Hm. Koedy Keplinger's new book, Shut Out. But even with all those, the book I'm MOST dying to read is Forever by Maggie Stiefvater, but it doesn't come out until August. *waiting as patiently as I waited for Mockingjay* There are more, but you get the idea.

  11. Early Happy Birthday. What a lovely thing to do, give a gift when you're the one who should be receiving.

If I were chosen I'd love either Crossed by Ally Condie or Everneath by Brodi Ashton, but neither of them are out yet. So in the unlikely event I'm chosen, I'd like The Uglies.

I'm tweeting this which means it will go to my Facebook page, too.

  14. Happy Birthday! I would say Meg's Melody but I've already read it a few times. A wonderful book for anyone who hasn't read it. I'm hearing a lot about Ally Condie lately, so she's probably next on my list. :)

I loved Meg's Melody, as you know. And I'm already a follower although it's a super old blond picture of me :)

  18. I would like to read "A Matter of Magic" by Patricia Read (It's not in my public library), but I would also like one of the classics like Les Miserables or The Count of Monte Cristo. Oh and I would love the whole poison study series someday. Hmmm...haha so, there's a few choices.

  21. Made it just in time!!

I would love to own the Book Thief -- I would consider it one of my favorite books. Maybe The Help, since I'm number 58 out of 127 on the hold list at my library. You know me sis . . . if I win, you can get me any book you think I would like. I have loved reading every book you have suggested to me. Right now I'm finishing up the poison study books. They are so good. :) When does the new book by Ally Condie come out? I will want to read that too.
